 Dear Members:

I would like to introduce myself as the new President of Kenston FC for the calender year 2010.  The Club had many exciting things happen in 2009 and my goal this year is to continue that excitement and grow the quality brand of Kenston FC soccer.  Many of you know that Kenston FC is a volunteer organization operated by parents of the children who participate or who have participated in the Club.  It is with the assistance of these volunteers that Kenston FC continues to grow and boast to be one of the best travel soccer programs in the area.  With that, I am please to announce the new Board of Directors for 2010:

                       President:              Nick DeGennaro
                       Vice President:       Al Marra
                       Treasurer:              Dave Fisher
                       Secretary:              Eugene Gormley
                       Director:                 Ira Zahner
                       Director:                 Todd Hiser

I am also pleased to announce that Kenston FC has formally designated its first Director of Coaching.  In 2010, Dani Guilevezan, Hawken Mens Head Coach and Olympic Development Coach,  will be the Director of Coaching for our boys and girls.  He will have many responsibilities within the Club, but will primarily focus on the development of our coaches and our players.

As with every year, we need to say thank you to the Directors who have served in the past. First, I would like to thank Jeff Markley for the countless number of hours he has committed to the Club.  Jeff coordinated all the games for us and was the face of the Club as representative for both the NOGSL and the OASL.  Second, I would like to thank Bill Alstalos for his hard work and dedication to the Club as past Treasurer.  Bill had spent hours upon hours coordinating the fields, managing the equipment, raising funds for the Stadium Project, lining the fields, and coordinating the referrees for our games.  Thank you to both gentlemen.

Some things to look forward to in 2010 will be the upcoming Spring season in April, the annual tryouts in May and the grand opening of the new Gardiner Fields for the Fall 2010 season.  On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, we thank you for all your support and continued dedication to this Club.

Regards,

Nick DeGennaro
President, Kenston FC
